Which document covers the neighborhood rules?
The HOA CCRs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions) is the primary "rulebook" for the community, covering everything from property maintenance to land use.
I want to make a exterior change to my home. Where do I start?
Start with the CCRs and the HOA Design Guidelines (ACC). This document outlines the specific aesthetic standards for Tanglewood Preserve. Once you've reviewed them, you'll need to submit an ARC Request Form.
What is the difference between the Bylaws and the CCRs?
Think of the HOA Bylaws as the "operating manual" for the Board (how elections work, meeting frequency), while the CCRs are the rules that apply directly to your home and property.
How can I see how my HOA dues are being spent?
This information is detailed in the Current Operating Budget. It provides a transparent breakdown of community expenses, from landscaping to insurance.
What is the Proxy Vote Form for?
If you cannot attend an annual meeting in person, the Proxy Vote Form allows you to assign your voting power to another resident or the Board so your voice is still heard on community decisions.
How often should I pump my septic tank?
You should clean your septic tank out every 3-5 years. We recommend Banks Septic for septic tank services. You can get a plat map w/ your septic tank marked via the Fulton County Board of Health. Remember to call 811 before you dig.
How do I pay my dues?
HOA Dues are to be paid by check to the HOA. They can be delivered via U.S. Mail to 3100 Chenery Drive, Milton, GA, 3004 OR hand-delivered to the current president. More information will be sent to you when dues need to be paid.
